What is it?

This decree-law establishes the updating of the salary base of the Public Administration and the value of the monetary amounts of TRU (Single Remuneration Table) levels 5, 6 and 7.

What is going to change?

There is an increase in the salary base of the Public Administration.

The monetary amounts of the salary levels 5, 6 and 7 of the TRU will have, in 2021, a salary update of 10.00€ compared to the previous year, as well as workers whose salary is between 645.07€ and 791.91€, provided that this update does not result in a value lower than the guaranteed minimum monthly salary (RMMG), as well as workers who today receive a salary between 791.92€ and 801.90€, whose salary is updated to 801.91€.

What advantages does it bring?

This decree-law provides that the amount of the basic remuneration practiced in the Public Administration is updated to the amount of the minimum monthly salary guaranteed for 2021.

Thus, through wage increases in the lower salaries of public administration workers it is allowed to invest in raising the motivation levels of those workers, with benefits for public services.

When does it enter into force?

This decree-law enters into force on the day following its publication and takes effect from 1 January 2021.
