What is going to change?Fines are doubled
The minimum and maximum fines for non-compliance with the measures necessary to contain the transmission of the COVID-19 disease are doubled.
The offence of non-compliance with the obligation to telework is aggravated
Failure to comply with the obligation to adopt the telework scheme during the state of emergency, irrespective of the employment relationship, the modality or the nature of the legal relationship, whenever the functions in question so allow, becomes a very serious offence.
What advantages does it bring?This decree-law, by aggravating the sanctions framework during the state of emergency, reinforces the awareness that it is necessary to comply with the extraordinary measures implemented to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 disease.
When does it enter into force?This decree-law enters into force on 15 January 2021.
