This decree-law amends certain exceptional and temporary measures related to the COVID-19 disease pandemic.
Given the public health emergency of international scope, declared by the World Health Organization on 30 January 2020, as well as the classification, on 11 March 2020, of the COVID-19 disease as a pandemic, the Government has been approving a set of extraordinary and urgent measures in several matters.What is going to change?
The parking of motor caravans or similar in the parks and beach parking areas, in specific places designated for that purpose, by the entities responsible for the management of the parking area, between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., is now allowed.
The set of equipment for collective use, the use of which is prohibited, is clarified. Thus, it is no longer forbidden to provide equipment with a capacity limited to two people simultaneously.
The deadline for employers to indicate in the Segurança Social Direta (Direct Social Security) which are the payment deadlines for deferred contributions, which they intend to use, is extended until August 2020.
The exceptional measures concerning the electronic communications sector, which ensured network capacity and bandwidth, responding, during the state of emergency, to the epidemiological situation caused by COVID-19, no longer exist.What advantages does it bring?
This decree-law guarantees the balance between recreational activities practiced on beaches and the principles of public health protection and risk prevention.
By extending the deadline for employers to indicate payment deadlines to Segurança Social Direta, this decree law ensures compliance with tax obligations and social contributions.When does it enter into force?
This decree-law enters into force on the day following its publication and takes effect from 1 August 2020.
