Given the public health emergency of international scope, declared by the World Health Organization on 30 January 2020, as well as the classification, on 11 March 2020, of the COVID-19 disease as a pandemic, the Government has been approving a set of extraordinary, temporary and urgent measures in several matters.What is going to change?
A simplified scheme of direct adjustment is created for the acquisition of equipment, goods and services needed to fight the virus, which waives the fulfilment of some formalities foreseen in the Public Contracts Code.
Contracts entered into under this scheme and the grounds on which the adoption of the simplified procedure results are published on the public contracts portal.
The period of stay in host establishments is also extended in order to allow an adequate response both from shelters and from emergency situations that integrate the national support network for victims of domestic violence.What advantages does it bring?
