Special and urgent measures are applied to guarantee health providers and public entities the availability of such equipment, goods and services to face the current situation of an international market strongly conditioned by a generalized and growing demand and, at the same time, a decrease in production and constraints to the circulation of goods. The scope of application of the exceptional public procurement scheme adopted for the response to the COVID-19 disease is extended to contracting entities as defined in the Public Procurement Code.What advantages does it bring?

This decree-law enters into force on 25 March 2020 and takes effects from 4 March 2020.
